Job Description : FINANCE AND ACCOUNTING DIRECTOR THAILAND This role offers an exciting opportunity to manage accurate and timely Record to Report processes, oversee finance operations, and present insights and recommendations to senior management. As a Finance & Accounting Associate Director, you will play a pivotal role in managing the company's financial operations. Your responsibilities will include managing accurate Record to Report processes, overseeing various finance operations, initiating process improvements, presenting insights to senior management, coaching the accounting team, governing finance & accounting policies, leading ad-hoc projects, and collaborating with stakeholders on accounting-related matters. Your leadership skills, combined with your extensive knowledge in finance and accounting, will be instrumental in driving the company's financial success. Manage accurate and timely Record to Report process including month-end & year-end closing and financial statement in compliance with accounting standards Oversee finance operations including account payable, account receivable, fixed asset Initiate process improvement through simplification and technology (e.g., RPA) to improve operational efficiency and effectiveness Present insights and recommendations to senior management to support key financial decision and risk management Coach and develop capability of accounting team within headquarter and countries across region Govern finance & accounting policies and procedures to ensure efficient and effective management Lead ad-hoc finance and accounting projects Collaborate with key internal and external stakeholders for accounting-related matters The ideal candidate for the Finance & Accounting Associate Director position brings a wealth of experience in financial control or a related field. You possess professional qualifications such as CPA or CPD. Your solid understanding of international accounting standards like IFRS sets you apart. Experience in the consumer/manufacturing industry is preferred but not mandatory. Your strong interpersonal skills make you an effective leader who can work well with a team. You are fluent in English which enables you to effectively communicate with multinational stakeholders. Lastly, your proficiency in using accounting software and digital skills will be a significant asset to the role. At least 10+ years as Financial Controller or relevant working experience. Professional accounting qualification e.g. CPA, CPD is preferred Solid accounting knowledge including international accounting and auditing standards such as IFRS Knowledge of consumer/manufacturing industry and processes is preferred Good interpersonal, leadership and teamwork skills Strong Finance and process acumen Fluent English and experience working with multinational stakeholders Excellent accounting software user and digital skills
