Job Description : BEVERAGE PLANT HEAD NSW AUSTRALIA Role is open to expatriate candidates One of the leading FMCG Beverages manufacturing company Job Description Lead and manage all plant operations, including engineering, maintenance, production, quality, safety and warehousing. Ensure high levels of efficiency, productivity, and quality control within the manufacturing processes. Oversee the installation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of machinery and equipment to maximize plant efficiency and minimize downtime. Ensure compliance with all regulatory, safety, and environmental standards, including quality control procedures and audits. Collaborate with the Quality Assurance (QA) and R&D teams to ensure product consistency and safety, and to resolve any quality-related issues. Lead, mentor, and develop a diverse team of managers, supervisors, and operators to achieve plant objectives. Develop and manage plant budgets, ensuring financial targets are met and costs are controlled. Work closely with the senior management team to align plant operations with the company's strategic goals. The Successful Applicant A successful Plant Head should have: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Industrial Management, or a related field. A Master's degree (MBA/Operations) would be a plus. Minimum of 20+ years of experience in manufacturing operations within the FMCG industry, ideally in beverages or carbonated drinks. Proven experience in managing large-scale production facilities with a focus on quality, cost, and safety. In-depth knowledge of manufacturing processes, lean management, and continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., Six Sigma, Kaizen). Have a strong 'hands-on' people management, stakeholder management, team building, leadership and coaching skills. Be an excellent negotiation, oral, and written communication skills.
