Quality Head

Job Description : QUALITY HEAD FLEXIBLE PACKAGING KENYA The person will be responsible for overall Quality functions for Flexible Packaging Products. Reporting to: Supply Chain Head Job Responsibilities: - Managed entire responsibility of the QC activities for all the products manufactured across different Plants. - Ensure right specification in place for all products manufactured. - All in Line quality checks in place for 100% defect free products despatched to custom - Ensuring complete in-process quality control and continuous improvement in process capabilities, Managing quality across raw materials, work in progress, finished goods in various functional departments. - Responsible for continuous up gradation of quality systems for better control and compliance. - Periodically conduct Internal & External quality audit. Competencies - Candidates ONLY from "flexible packaging" industry will be considered. - Should have in depth knowledge of flexible packaging process and inputs - Guide QC team to resolve problems - Plant compliance by implementing processes like mix-up, validation etc. - Knowledge: Printing, Slitting, Gluing, lamination and cutting - Evaluate, analyze and resolve consumer complaints ensuring prompt feedback with CAPA Qualification & Experience: Graduation or Post graduation in Science with at least 18 years experience of which 5+ years of experience as Quality Head of the manufacturing plant (Flexible Packaging Industry) with an experience of handling independently Quality Functions & Audit of the Plant/ Factory.
