Senior Manager Logistics and Purchase

Job Description : SENIOR MANAGER LOGISTICS AND PURCHASE MUMBAI 10-15 years experience Salary between 60 to 80 lakh Brief Job Description: The position requires the individual to be well versed with Handling Purchases, International & Domestic along with experience of Imports & Export shipments MBA or Postgraduate or similar, with min 10 -15 years’ experience. · To effect a shipment economically i.e. taking into consideration time & cost factors. · To make sure there are no complaints of customers from packing, labelling point of view. · To ensure shipment takes place on time thus achieving customer satisfaction. · Corresponding with domestic and international customers / suppliers for logistics issues and documentation, customer complaints related to packing, transportation damages · To ensure smooth & timely functioning of the shipment. · Raising the purchase order with the supplier · Coordinating local dispatches · Coordinating with overseas as well as local suppliers · Coordinating with CHA for custom clearance and with banks for payment documents · Follow up with supplier & clearing agent etc
