Job Description : FINANCE DIRECTOR ZIMBABWE A leading FMCG is in the market for a highly experienced and strategic Finance Director to lead the financial operations of their fast paced company.The ideal candidate will be a seasoned Chartered Accountant with a proven track record in the FMCG industry Salary: Negotiable Responsibilities: Develop and implement comprehensive financial strategies aligned with the company's overall business objectives. Oversee the budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis processes to optimize resource allocation and decision-making. Ensure accurate and timely preparation of financial statements, including monthly, quarterly, and annual reports, in compliance with local and international accounting standards. Identify, assess, and mitigate financial risks, implementing robust internal controls and compliance procedures. Optimize cash flow management to ensure liquidity and minimize working capital requirements. Lead and develop a high-performing finance team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement. Ensure compliance with all relevant tax laws and regulations, including tax planning and optimization. Engage with investors and analysts, providing clear and accurate financial information. Support M&A activities, including due diligence, valuation, and post-merger integration. Collaborate closely with other departments to provide financial insights and support business decisions. Key Skills: Minimum of 10 years of experience in a senior finance role within the FMCG industry. Strong understanding of financial accounting, management accounting, and tax principles. Proven track record in leading and managing finance team Qualifications: Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification
