Job Description : COO-Steel Location : India Qualifications: Graduation, Post Graduation/Masters. · Degree: Bachelors in Technology/Mechanical Engineering, · Advanced Degrees: Advanced degrees such as a Master's or MBA are advantageous for strategic leadership roles. · Certification: · Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with the steel industry. Experience: Minimum 20 to 25 years of Manufacturing Industry experience (Heading Operations of the units of Blast furnace, Sinter Plant & Coke Oven) & including 10 years in a similar role. Key Experience Indicators: 1. Decision Making 2. Liasoning 3. Interpersonal Relationship 4. Conflict Management KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: · Provide overall direction, control & management of all activities within the manufacturing & operation of units. · Developing manufacturing & operational strategic plans & overseeing its implementation to ensure maximum capacity utilization of the unit. · Translate strategy into actionable goals for performance and growth helping to implement organization-wide goal setting, performance management, and annual operating planning · Oversee company operations and employee productivity, building a highly inclusive culture ensuring team members thrive and organizational outcomes are met
