Job Description : ENGINEERING DIRECTOR USA Role is open to International candidates Seeking Director of Engineering to provide leadership and oversight to their project engineers. The successful candidate will have a thorough understanding of drafting techniques and be capable of learning POD related design. Key Responsibilities: As the Director of Engineering, you will play a pivotal role in leading the project engineering team. Your responsibilities will include maintaining engineering methods, initiating design changes to improve process or product performance, planning engineering workload, tracking progress, solving gaps in performance, and operating strategically towards the future. You will also work closely with Marketing and Design teams in establishing cost trade-offs. This role offers an excellent opportunity to apply your leadership skills and technical expertise to drive success within our client's organization. Provide guidance and support to the project engineering team Maintain engineering methods, operation sequence, and processes in the fabrication of parts, components, sub-assemblies, and final assemblies Enforce the use and maintenance of an organized file system for production drawings Initiate design changes to improve process or product performance and quality, or decrease costs Plan engineering workload, track progress, problem solve gaps in performance, and operate strategically toward future Work closely with Marketing and Design in establishing cost trade-offs Key Requirements: The ideal candidate for the Director of Engineering position will bring a wealth of experience and knowledge in engineering principles. You should hold a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering accredited by the EAC/ABET, along with at least 5 years' experience practicing the fundamentals of engineering using design software related to this field. Advanced skills in using computer-aided design systems (CADs) are essential for this role, as well as intermediate knowledge in Lean manufacturing initiatives. Your ability to read and use technical drawings will be crucial for success in this role. Furthermore, your ability to demonstrate professionalism with personnel and management will set you apart. Bachelor's Degree in Engineering accredited by the EAC/ABET Minimum 15 years experience practicing the fundamentals of engineering using design software related to engineering Advanced skills and knowledge in using computer-aided design systems (CADs) Intermediate knowledge in Lean manufacturing initiatives Advanced knowledge and ability to read and use technical drawings Ability to demonstrate professionalism with personnel and management
