The ideal candidate will have over 10 years of experience in sales, marketing, and distribution, and must be fluent in French. This role is based in Madagascar and requires an individual who can effectively manage sales operations, build strong client relationships, and ensure efficient distribution processes. 1. **Sales Strategy Development:** - Create and implement comprehensive sales plans to achieve revenue targets. - Identify and capitalize on new market opportunities to drive growth. 2. **Team Management:** - Lead, mentor, and manage a team of sales professionals to maximize performance. - Conduct regular training sessions to enhance the skills and knowledge of the sales team 3. **Customer Relationship Management:** - Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with clients. - Address customer queries and concerns promptly to ensure high levels of satisfaction. 4. **Market Analysis:** - Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments. - Provide insights and recommendations based on market analysis to inform business strategies. 5. **Distribution Oversight:** - Ensure timely and efficient delivery of products to customers. - Optimize the distribution network to minimize costs and maximize efficiency 6. **Performance Monitoring:** - Track and evaluate sales performance against targets and KPIs. - Prepare regular reports and presentations for senior management. 7. **Budget Management:** - Develop and manage the sales budget to ensure financial targets are met. - Monitor expenses and implement cost-saving measures where necessary. 8. **Compliance and Regulations:** - Ensure all sales and distribution activities comply with local and international regulations. - Maintain thorough documentation and records for audit purposes. 9. Process Improvement: - Continuously assess and improve sales and distribution processes. - Implement best practices and innovative solutions to enhance operational efficiency. 10. Stakeholder Engagement: - Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to align on business objectives. - Participate in industry events and networking opportunities to promote the company. - A minimum of 10 years of experience in sales, marketing, and distribution within the paper and pulp industry. - Fluency in French is a must. - Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth. - Strong leadership and team management skills. - Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. - Analytical mindset with the ability to make data-driven decisions. - Familiarity with distribution logistics and supply chain management. - Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred). - Experience in international markets, particularly in the Madagascar region. - Proficiency in using CRM software and sales analytics tools.
