Job Description : 5) HEAD QA/QC DUBAI FOR FMCG Develop project-specific quality documentation, such as quality manuals, QA plans, procedures, inspection and test plans (ITPs), inspection schedules, and field quality plans, ensuring alignment with international standards, client specifications, and local regulations. Prepare and secure approvals for method statements from the Project Director or Chief Engineer. Review supplier manufacturing quality plans, coordinate inspections at supplier facilities, evaluate third-party inspection reports, and submit these to the client for approval. Provide periodic quality-related inputs and reports to clients as needed. Organize quality orientation and training programs for the workforce, staff, and subcontractors. Identify and obtain approval for testing laboratories. Conduct and lead regular project quality review meetings with the team. Implementation Ensure all project sites have the latest specifications and applicable standards. Establish and monitor QA/QC procedures, aligning them with company policies, client requirements, and legal regulations. Collaborate with the site team, subcontractors, and stakeholders to execute the Project Quality Plan (PQP) and Quality Management System (QMS). Material Management Identify and maintain a calibrated list of testing and measurement equipment. Inspect and test incoming materials, ensuring compliance with ITPs and client approvals, and maintain traceability records. Coordinate with approved laboratories for material and activity testing, reviewing results to meet project requirements. Foster effective coordination among clients, site laboratories, and teams for project needs. Induction and Training Conduct orientation and ongoing training sessions on quality standards for new and existing employees, subcontractors, and staff. Clearly explain method statements to relevant team members before commencing new processes. Audits and Non-Conformance Management Organize periodic quality audits, workplace inspections, and compliance checks by internal and external auditors. Address non-conformities promptly and develop corrective actions in response to client NCRs. Raise NCRs for deviations and coordinate root cause analysis with relevant departments. Quality Initiatives Promote quality awareness through campaigns, competitions, and programs for staff and workers. Regularly recognize and reward employees who adhere to high-quality practices. Reporting and Meetings Develop and gain approval for QMS plans. Attend weekly project review meetings and collaborate with project management and site teams. Accompany the Project Director in employer/client quality review meetings. Submit periodic reports on quality assurance and control to the Project Director and client representatives. Share audit and NCR reports with clients and address non-conformities as required. Role RequirementsEducational Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in relevant degree Certifications in Quality Management and Assurance from relevant bodies. Experience Minimum 15 years of relevant experience, with at least 5 years in a similar role. At least 5 years of experience in FMCG project sites, ideally with multinational consultants.
