Job Description : Business Development Manager (North America) ???? ???? Location: Toronto, Canada ???? Type: Full-time Are you a seasoned Business Development professional with a passion for scaling businesses and building strong partnerships? If you have experience in the food/FMCG industry in North America and a proven track record of success, we want to hear from you! About the Role As a Business Development Manager for North America, you’ll play a pivotal role in driving our growth strategy, expanding distribution, and building relationships with top clients and distributors. This is a unique opportunity to lead sales and distribution efforts for our brands and private label business across the USA and Canada. Key Responsibilities 1. Sales Leadership: Plan, develop, and achieve sales targets while growing our presence in North America. 2. New Opportunities: Identify and pursue new distributors, private label business, and untapped ethnic/specialty channels. 3. Market Insights: Build comprehensive knowledge of market trends, distribution gaps, and growth opportunities. 4. Team Collaboration: Motivate and coach distributor sales teams for improved coverage, depth, and visibility. 5. Brand Promotion: Work with the India office to execute marketing campaigns and develop promotional strategies. What We’re Looking For ? Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s preferred). ? Experience: Minimum 10 years in business development, sales, or marketing, with expertise in North America’s mainstream FMCG channels. ? Industry Know-How: Strong background in the food/FMCG industry with an established network of clients and distributors. ? Skills: Exceptional communication, negotiation, and analytical abilities. ? Flexibility: Willing to travel within the USA and Canada (up to 50% of the time).
