Power Engineer

Job Description : POWER ENGINEER BAHRAIN Job Description -Directs, administers and controls all aspects of the operating the power station to meet required throughput demands specifications and units/systems stability, to ensure the availability of power, steam and air for sustaining refinery operations and other corporate facilities, consistent with safe operating practices and in accordance with the highest industry standards. -The job holder is fully responsible for the installation, and safe operation of units under his control, consisting of three steam turbo generators, three gas turbine generators, five high pressure boilers and other associated accessories equipment. -B.Tech. / B.E. / B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering from a recognized university. -Must have a minimum of 10 to 15 years experience in power station operations, with at least two years spent as Shift Supervisor and two years as Operations Specialist. -Must have detailed knowledge of the units under his control, their inter-relation with other units and facilities and the theoretical aspects of processes. -Must act decisively in an emergency and take full control of his area of operation. -Must have sound organizing abilities and interpersonal kills. Must be mature and have a good attitude, aptitude, patience, enthusiasm and leadership qualities. -Excellent PC skills with familiarity with Microsoft Office and other standard software packages. -Good command over written and spoken English language. Must be able to write detailed and legible reports and other documents relating to any aspects of the work.
