Job Description : BD Head - Mining Business Location - Zambia / Any other country in Africa Experience - 10-12 yrs exp in Mining Business Development Job Description - Develop and execute a comprehensive business strategy for the mining division in alignment with organizational goals. Identify growth opportunities in the mining sector, including exploration, extraction, and production. Establish and maintain strategic partnerships and joint ventures with key industry stakeholders. Drive business expansion by identifying and pursuing new mining projects and investment opportunities. Develop and nurture relationships with customers, suppliers, government agencies, and other stakeholders. Oversee daily mining operations to ensure safety, efficiency, and compliance with regulatory standards. Prepare and manage the business's annual budget, ensuring alignment with organizational financial goals. Monitor and control costs while optimizing profitability across all mining operations. Ensure all mining business activities comply with local and international laws, environmental regulations, and safety standards. Identify potential risks and implement mitigation strategies to safeguard the organization. Build and lead a high-performing team, fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, and excellence. Mentor and develop key talent within the division, promoting growth and career advancement. Facilitate effective communication and collaboration among cross-functional teams. Represent the organization at industry conferences, forums, and public engagements. Requirement - Strong leadership, strategic planning & networking, relationship management skills.
