Job Description : General Manager - FMCG Manufacturing (UAE) leading FMCG manufacturing company specializing in beauty, perfumes, and personal care products is looking to hire a General Manager/Business Head. Key Responsibilities: Lead the development and implementation of the business unit’s strategic objectives, ensuring alignment with the company’s overall goals. Drive revenue and profitability growth through effective business development, marketing, and customer acquisition strategies. Analyze market trends, customer demands, and competitive dynamics to identify growth opportunities and areas for improvement. P&L responsibility for the business unit, including revenue generation, cost control, and profitability. Monitor financial performance, analyze variances, and implement corrective actions to meet or exceed financial targets. Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting processes to ensure effective financial oversight and resource allocation. Oversee the end-to-end manufacturing and supply chain processes to ensure timely delivery of products, efficient production, and high-quality standards. Manage vendor and supplier relationships to ensure the availability of raw materials and components at the best quality and cost. Ensure optimal production scheduling, capacity planning, and inventory management to meet market demand and reduce operational disruptions. Identify and implement innovative manufacturing techniques to enhance productivity and product quality. Lead, develop, and motivate cross-functional teams including production, supply chain, marketing, HR, and finance. Collaborate with the marketing team to develop brand strategies and ensure alignment with product development and market positioning. Monitor customer feedback and market trends to ensure product offerings meet consumer preferences and expectations. Ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental regulations, as well as industry-specific standards (e.g., beauty, fragrance, and personal care products). Develop and implement risk management strategies to mitigate operational, financial, and reputational risks. Required Skills & Qualifications: Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred. Experience: 20+ years of experience in a senior management role, preferably within the FMCG sector, with a strong background in beauty, perfumes, or personal care manufacturing. Proven track record of managing P&L, driving growth, and leading cross-functional teams. In-depth knowledge of supply chain management, production processes, and quality control in FMCG manufacturing.
