Job Description : Head Manufacturing Job Location : Dar es Salaam, Tanzania Qualification : Graduate Engineer with MBA (Operations) preferable Experience : 20 to 25 years experience in Carton box manufacturing Age : Below 50 years Job Description : As head of manufacturing for a carton box manufacturing plant is responsible for the overall operations of the plant, including production, quality control, and maintenance. Some of their responsibilities include: · Production · Planning and executing production to meet goals and minimize waste · Quality control · Troubleshooting production problems and implementing quality improvement programs · Maintenance · Developing and implementing policies and procedures to ensure the plant and equipment are well-maintained · Resource planning · Ensuring the right amount of raw materials are available and coordinating with suppliers · Customer complaints · Handling customer complaints and working with the technical team to solve problems Other skills that may be useful for a head of manufacturing for a carton box manufacturing plant include: · Experience in the paper and packaging industry · Knowledge of manufacturing plants for corrugated sheets and boxes · Knowledge of accounts, filing returns, and purchasing · Excellent communication and negotiation skills · Excellent leadership qualities · Ability to work in a challenging environment · Knowledge of safety and quality standards · Medically "Fit" Salary and Perks : USD.4000 per month + USD.800 equivalent Tanzania Shillings local expenses + Furnished single accommodation, Annual leave 30 days after completing 1 year of service, medical insurance covered through AXA Insurance Candidate with prior work experience in Africa and worked in Carton box manufacturing preferred
