Job Description : SALES DIRECTOR GCC leading name in the FMCG industry, operating across the GCC region. This role requires an experienced leader to manage distributors, build key account relationships, and spearhead business development initiatives across the region. Your Role As the Sales Director for the GCC, you will be responsible for setting and executing the sales strategy to drive growth, ensure market leadership, and build sustainable partnerships. Your role will encompass both strategic planning and hands-on management to achieve business objectives. Key responsibilities include: Strategic Sales Leadership: Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy tailored to the GCC markets, aligning with the company’s overarching business objectives. Distributor Management: Oversee and strengthen relationships with regional distributors to ensure optimal market coverage, performance, and compliance with agreed KPIs. Key Account Management: Lead negotiations, manage relationships with modern trade and key account partners, and ensure value delivery for both the business and its stakeholders. Operational Excellence: Monitor and optimize sales processes, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness across markets. Drive performance metrics and address market-specific challenges proactively. Business Development: Identify new market opportunities, partnerships, and innovative approaches to drive growth and expand market presence. Team Leadership: Build and nurture a high-performing sales team, fostering a culture of excellence, accountability, and collaboration. Must Have Experience: 15+ years in FMCG sales, with at least 5 years in a senior sales leadership role managing multiple GCC markets. Market Expertise: Deep understanding of GCC market dynamics, including distributor management, modern and traditional trade. Experience in Direct Distribution would be a major plus. Proven Results: Demonstrated success in driving sales growth, managing large distributors, and delivering results in a competitive environment. Operational Strength: Hands-on experience in implementing efficient sales processes and achieving operational excellence. Business Acumen: Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to translate business goals into actionable plans. Leadership Skills: A track record of building and leading high-performing teams, with excellent communication and relationship-building abilities. Category Experience: Prior experience in beverages, impulse categories, or similar FMCG sectors is highly desirable.
