Senior Accountant

Job Description : SENIOR ACCOUNTANT CAMEROON We are looking for a qualified Accountant to handle day to day accounts. Prepare, compute, manage, research and analyze all accounting/stock data, in order to provide quantitative information on performance, financial position and cash flows of our business. Job Role: knowledge ?Handling Cash Bank, Bank Reconciliation ?Follow Up with Bank and Sundry Creditors ?Knowledge on taxation postings. ?Knowledge of documents maintenance, Book Keeping and office/store management ?Review and process purchase orders, invoices, payments, cash applications, and other expense charges ?Assist managers in various closure related activities, including accrual and accounts reconciliation. ?Review, approve, and input every operational accounting entry ?Involve with revenue, customer invoicing and collection ?Manual stock taking and comparing with computer printout. ?Store Keeping knowledge with warehouse management is add on advantage. ?Operate ERP based Accounts Package and Tally ERP 9. Retail software postings & POS Desired Candidate Profile Education: ?Candidate should have a Degree in B.Com or equivalent degree ( Commerce / Finance ) Experience: ?Minimum 8+ years of experience in Accounts Department, preferably worked in a trading company / hospitality / trainee CA firm. Skill Required: ?Should have hands on working experience of Retail POS, Tally ERP 9 & MS Office. ?Knowledge on Service Tax and TDS. ?Should be able to be a self-starter and motivated ?Should be able to work alone, with initiative and limited supervision. ?Should have good communication skills. Should be proficient in spoken and written English ?Highly organized with ability to coordinate and prioritize multiple tasks and projects ?Team player with strong communication and interpersonal skills French language & African / overseas work experience will be a plus.
