Job Description : SEGMENT HEAD UGANDA FOR STEEL ROLE : The position will bear the ultimate responsibility of safeguarding the organizations reputation and will be accountable for managing distribution of products across the country. He will also be responsible for meeting business plan and obtain optimum efficiency and productivity while ensuring employee satisfaction and Key customers relationship management. Products : Steel Bars, Steel Pipes, Hollow Sections, Angles, Columns, Channels, Flat, Plate, Square, Engineering Steel etc RESPONSIBILITIES : Plan, organize, direct and run operations smoothly with focus on profitability at all times Develop and implement procedures and control systems to provide improved customer service. Devise business strategies to generate sales and increase market share amongst major clients while scouting for new clients always Leading efforts for streamlining sales and revenue generation in all market conditions. Co-ordinate with team members to devise strategies to improve and maintain sales. Ensure profitability while managing new clients and projects. Plan and Execute for the Short/Medium and Long Range horizons Controlling Cost through optimization of People, Processes, systems Squarely meet and overcome operational challenges Preferred candidate profile SKILLS Proven results driven manager with the ability to work in a high performance environment. Ability to manage multiple, complex tasks with excellent attention to detail. Demonstrated willingness to take calculated risks using excellent analytical abilities. Good written and oral communication skills. A track record of success in energizing others to higher performance using solid planning, leadership and administrative skills. He should have excellent interpersonal communication and negotiation skills. The candidate should also be energetic, self-driven person of impeccable integrity and honesty EXPERIENCE 8-10 Years in Steel industry with exposure to Sales, marketing & Administration Addition knowledge of Building Material, Hardware, Electrical or related fields is big advantage Should have good command over written and spoken English Conversant with MS Office and SAP Perks and benefits Net Savings $2500 - $3000 + Food + Accommodation + Transport + Airfare/Visa + Other Expat Benefits
