Job Description : General Manager - VCM Operations(Vinyl Chloride Monomer) Location: Mundra, Gujarat Company: Adani Petrochemical Business Primary Purpose: To oversee and manage the Vinyl Chloride Monomer (VCM) production unit, ensuring optimal performance, operational safety.This role requires technical expertise in chemical manufacturing processes, particularly VCM production, and a strong focus on process optimization. Key Responsibilities: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the VCM manufacturing facility, ensuring efficient and uninterrupted production. Monitor and control critical parameters such as reaction kinetics, temperature, pressure, and material flow for optimal process performance. Develop and refine VCM production processes, focusing on improving yields, reducing energy consumption, and minimizing waste. Address complex technical challenges related to distillation, polymerization, and raw material processing Educational Background: Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering. Experience: Minimum 25+ years of experience in petrochemical/chemical manufacturing, with at least 20 years in VCM or related operations.
