General Manager Procurement

Job Description : GM PROCUREMENT INDONEISA This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead and manage all procurement sections, including the import of petrochemical commodity materials, direct-indirect materials, MRO-Technical, Freight and Services. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies in procurement to meet business objectives and operational needs. This role is based in Cikupa and offers a five-day work week. Lead all procurement sections Develop and implement procurement strategies Based in Cikupa with a five-day work week What you'll do: As the General Manager of Procurement, your role will be pivotal in driving cost-saving and cost avoidance strategies across all procurement sections. You will be tasked with reviewing and approving purchase plans for both direct and indirect materials while maintaining optimal inventory levels. Your expertise will be crucial in conducting second negotiations for high-value procurement activities. You will also oversee the sourcing, evaluation, qualification, and selection of suppliers for big projects or CAPEX according to the company's policies and procedures. Monitoring and controlling high spending activities within MRO & Technical Procurement will fall under your purview. Additionally, you will develop annual MMA Purchase Contracts and be responsible for PMMA & MMA Purchase Plans. A key part of your role will involve providing periodic reports on various aspects such as MMA & PMMA Cost/Ton (Actual vs Projection), MMA Spend Report, MMA Price Trend. Develop and ensure implementation of strategies in procurement of Direct & Indirect Material to meet business objectives and operational needs. Review & approve purchase plan for direct & indirect material. Perform second negotiation for high value procurement activities. Responsible for sourcing, evaluation, qualification and selection of Big Projects/CAPEX suppliers. Monitor-control high spending activities in MRO & Technical Procurement. Develop and propose Annual MMA Purchase Contract to CEO. Responsible for PMMA & MMA Purchase Plan. Provide Periodic report include but not limited to MMA & PMMA Cost/Ton Report (Actual vs Projection), MMA Spend Report, MMA Price Trend. What you bring: The ideal candidate for the General Manager of Procurement position brings significant experience in leading all sections of procurement including the import of petrochemical commodity materials, direct-indirect materials, MRO-Technical, Freight and Services. You have personally handled the procurement of Petrochemical Commodity materials and have experience working in a manufacturing chemical company. Your technical skills include global sourcing, strategic negotiation, vendor management, and ERP literacy. Fluency in English and Mandarin is required for this role. You possess a good ability to process and analyze numbers and data related to Procurement’s performance and cost. Significant experience in leading all Procurement Section (Import Petrochemical Commodity Materials, Import Direct-Indirect Materials, MRO-Technical, Freight and Services) Experience in handling procurement of Petrochemical Commodity materials Experience in Manufacturing chemical company. Proficiency in Global Sourcing, Strategic Negotiation, Vendor Management ERP Literacy Fluency in English and Mandarin Good ability in process, analyze numbers and data related to Procurement’s performance and cost
