General Manager Manufacturing

Job Description : GM CEMENT MANUFACTURING QUEBEC, CANADA Role is open to French speaking International candidates MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB: Will head the entire plant manufacturing operations and lead a large team. KRAs : a) Lead the overall plant operations as per company policies & guidelines b) Oversee all the manufacturing and process excellence activities. c) Provide leadership and vision to the organization by leading Production & Maintenance (Mechanical, E&I, Civil), Preventive Maintenance teams to desired goals. d) Analyze the planned v/s the actual targets and drive the activities to achieve the business & functional targets. e) Guide the department Heads to ensure continual improvement in plant by monitoring and analyzing the process condition to improve the operational efficiency & energy conservation. f) Responsible for Environment, Health & Safety activities& fulfillment of statuary compliances in the plant. g) Management of any significant issues that might affect progress. h) Ensure team building, mentoring & coaching and necessary training/ qualification program are implemented timely at all levels of employee. i) Ensure effective Planning & Budgeting based on sales targets and Capex for improvement of the plant. j) Ensure optimum plant availability by facilitating and arranging all necessary resources for maintenance work. IDEAL CANDIDATE PROFILE: Engineers with 25+ years experience in Leading Cement Companies and Managing Large Manufacturing teams in Integrated Cement Units. Must have: a) Good understanding of cement manufacturing processes & its chemistry, maintenance activities of cement plant. b) Good analytical, trouble shooting, decision making, presentation & learning ability. c) Good administrative skills to handle a large team. d) Sound knowledge & orientation of safety. e) Should be able to collaborate with seniors, peers and subordinates. f) Should be able to lead change and influence others to accept the change.
