Job Description : PCH IVC FOR FERTILIZER Operations Management: Oversee the end-to-end supply chain, inventory management, and distribution. Collaborate with shipping agencies, vessel agents, and logistics providers to ensure timely offloading of cargo. Ensure timely delivery of products to customers. Optimize operational processes to reduce costs and improve efficiency. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements related to distribution and sales in Cte dIvoire and neighbouring countries. Sales Management: Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to meet revenue and profitability targets. Identify new market opportunities and establish relationships with key clients, distributors, and partners in the agricultural sector. Lead the sales team by providing guidance, training, and motivation to achieve sales goals. Conduct market analysis to understand customer needs, competitor activities, and emerging trends in the industry. Prepare regular sales forecasts and reports for senior management .Business Development: Build and maintain strong relationships with government agencies, industry stakeholders, and agricultural organizations. Represent the company at trade fairs, exhibitions, and industry forums to enhance brand visibility. Provide input on product development based on market feedback and customer requirements. Team Leadership: Recruit, train, and manage a high-performing sales and operations team. Set clear objectives, monitor performance, and provide constructive feedback. Foster a collaborative and results-oriented work culture. Ensure professionalism and self-discipline in day-to-day business conduct. Preferred candidate profile Education: Bachelors degree in business administration, Agriculture, Supply Chain Management, or a related field (masters degree preferred). Experience: Minimum 15 years in sales and operations management, preferably in the fertilizer, rice, or agricultural industry. Language Skills: Fluency in French and English is mandatory Perks and benefits Knowledge of the fertilizer and rice market in Ivory Coast/ West Africa is an advantage.
