Job Description : PROJECT HEAD NIGERIA We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Head of Projects to lead and oversee turnkey projects from conceptualization to completion. The ideal candidate will possess extensive expertise in managing complex, multi-disciplinary projects, including civil, mechanical, and electrical installations, with a strong emphasis on validation and qualification processes. A sound understanding of modern technologies, manufacturing processes, and project management methodologies is essential. Key Responsibilities: Project Conceptualization & Planning: - Develop project scope, objectives, timelines, and budgets in alignment with organizational goals. - Ensure feasibility studies and risk assessments are conducted for all projects. Execution & Management: - Oversee civil, mechanical, and electrical installations, ensuring adherence to quality, safety, and regulatory standards. - Lead the coordination between cross-functional teams, contractors, and vendors to ensure seamless execution. - Implement and monitor project schedules, milestones, and deliverables to ensure timely completion. Validation & Qualification: - Ensure that all projects meet industry standards and regulatory requirements through effective validation and qualification processes. - Collaborate with quality assurance teams to certify installations and processes. Technology & Innovation: - Stay updated with the latest advancements in manufacturing technologies and incorporate them into project planning and execution. - Drive innovation and cost efficiency without compromising quality or compliance. Stakeholder Management: - Act as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and reporting on project progress, risks, and resolutions. - Manage vendor and contractor negotiations to ensure alignment with project goals. Budget & Resource Management: - Manage budgets for projects averaging INR 10 Cr+ (or equivalent), ensuring cost control and efficient allocation of resources. - Monitor expenditures and identify cost-saving opportunities. Leadership & Team Development: - Lead and mentor project teams, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture. - Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Qualifications & Experience: Education: Bachelor's/Master's degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, or Electrical preferred) or a related discipline. Experience: - Minimum of 15+ years in project management, with a proven track record of handling multiple large-scale projects (10 Cr+). - Extensive experience with turnkey projects, including civil, mechanical, and electrical installations. - Hands-on experience with validation and qualification processes is essential. - Exposure to FMCG, pharmaceuticals, or other manufacturing industries is highly desirable. - Technical Expertise: In-depth knowledge of recent technologies, manufacturing processes, and regulatory standards. - Certifications: PMP, PRINCE2, or similar project management certifications are a plus. Skills & Competencies: - Strong leadership and decision-making abilities. - Excellent project management and organizational skills. - Proficiency in project management tools and software. - Strong communication and stakeholder management skills. - Ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
