General Manager

Job Description : GM PLASTIC INJECTION MOLDING SWEDEN a long-standing and growing manufacturer in the plastic injection molding industry, currently looking for a seasoned General Manger with proven leadership skills to run their facility. This position will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of production, plant and building maintenance, training and supervision of staff, focus on continuous improvement in all areas. Responsibilities: - Formulating and administering company long-range goals and objectives - Drive sales growth with in-house sales personnel for a variety of customer industries - Review and analyze activities, costs, operations, and forecast data to determine department or division progress toward stated goals and objectives - Responsible for coordinating plant manufacturing operations, including production and shipment. Ensures shipping goals, cost objectives and quality standards are met - Review order and production schedules, determine work force required and directs operations - Follows progress of production, anticipates or investigates major causes of delays, and ensures that corrective action is taken - Maintains a continuous review of schedules, methods standards or other production factors and makes effective recommendations for continuous improvement quality costs - Manage around 200 non-unionized employees, leads and motivates team through coaching, mentoring and influence - Direct and coordinate facility operations within established policies and procedures Job Requirements - Must be a leader in a plastic injection molding environment with indepth plastics industrial knowledge - Automotive injustry experience is an asset - Good understanding of P&L/Industry Costing, GM relationship preferred - Proven track record of success with Continuous Improvement initiatives - Excellent managerial and leadership skills - Demonstrated strategic and analytical problem resolving skills - Excellent verbal and written communication, interpersonal and presentation skills
