Accounting Head

Job Description : ACCOUNTING HEAD HAMBURG GERMANY Technical and disciplinary management of the accounting team (accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger) Preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements in accordance with the German Commercial Code (HGB). Ensuring compliance with all relevant legal regulations and standards. Close cooperation with other specialist departments, management and external partners (e.g. auditors). Optimization of accounting processes. Support of special projects in the area of??accounting and finance. Successfully completed degree in business administration with a focus on accounting, finance or comparable qualification. Several years of professional experience in accounting, ideally in a management position. Sound knowledge of accounting according to the German Commercial Code (HGB). Experience in using ERP systems (e.g. SAP). Strong analytical skills and a structured way of working. Strong communication skills, leadership skills and a high degree of initiative. Very good knowledge of German and English, both written and spoken.
