Job Description : EXPAT CHIEF TECHNICAL OFFICER INDONESIA FOR GOLD MINING n Indonesian-based mining company engaged in the exploration and development of mineral resources, primarily focusing on gold, copper, and other base metals. They are looking for a Chief Technical Officer to sit at the holding company. The role involves leading mine operations, selecting optimal mining technologies, and ensuring efficient use of resources and reserves. The CTO will report to the CEO of the holding group. Job Description The role involves leading mine operations, selecting optimal mining technologies, and ensuring efficient use of resources and reserves. It also includes prioritizing workplace safety and environmental protection, aiming for zero fatalities, and aligning employees and contractors with the mine's goals and regulations. Additionally, the role requires fostering strong relationships with stakeholders, including government and local communities, to secure support for compliant and sustainable mining operations while overseeing quality, health, safety, and environmental standards. The Successful Applicant Bachelor's degree in Mining or Engineering from a reputable university. Minimum of 15 years of experience in open-pit and underground gold/mineral mining with at least 10 years of experience in managerial roles within the mining industry. Certification as a Middle Mining Operations Supervisor and membership in a professional organization (national or international) is preferred. Strong understanding of gold/mineral mining processes, including exploration, mining techniques, material processing methods (CIL/Heap Leach), chemicals utilization, and mining waste management. Experience in government relations, public and community engagement, and ensuring regulatory and policy compliance.
