Leave rotation is 150/20 days A Finance Controller with CMA certification is a senior-level accounting professional responsible for overseeing all aspects of a company's financial operations, including budgeting, financial reporting, internal controls, and compliance, with a strong emphasis on data analysis and strategic decision-making, utilizing their CMA expertise to provide valuable insights to management for informed business decisions; typically reporting directly to the CFO and managing a team of accountants. Key Responsibilities: Financial Planning and Analysis: Develop and manage comprehensive budgets, forecasts, and financial models, utilizing advanced analytical techniques to identify trends and potential risks. Conduct in-depth variance analysis to explain deviations from budget and forecast, providing actionable insights to management. Perform cost-benefit analysis to support strategic decision-making. Financial Reporting: Prepare accurate and timely financial statements (balance sheet, income statement, cash flow statement) in accordance with GAAP and internal reporting requirements. Ensure compliance with all relevant accounting standards and regulatory reporting deadlines. Lead the month-end and year-end closing process, including account reconciliations and journal entries. Internal Controls: Establish and maintain robust internal control systems to mitigate financial risks and safeguard company assets. Conduct regular internal control reviews and implement necessary improvements. Coordinate with external auditors to ensure smooth audit process. Team Management: Lead and develop a team of accountants, assigning tasks, providing coaching and mentoring to optimize performance. Foster a collaborative work environment within the finance team. Business Partnership: Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams (sales, operations, marketing) to provide financial insights and support strategic initiatives. Analyze business performance metrics and identify opportunities for cost reduction and revenue growth. Required Skills and Qualifications: Certified Management Accountant (CMA) designation Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance Proven experience in financial planning, analysis, and reporting in a complex business environment Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with proficiency in data manipulation and interpretation Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels Expertise in accounting software and ERP systems Leadership and team management abilities
