Job Description : VP INTERNAL AUDIT NEW YORK USA his newly created role will report directly to the senior leadership and is part of an eight-person audit team split between two major locations. The successful candidate will be responsible for independently planning and executing audit activities, engaging with stakeholders across various levels, and contributing to the development of innovative audit processes. As the Vice President, Internal Audit, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the direction of our client's audit function. Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve developing comprehensive audit plans for both established operations and new business lines. You'll work closely with stakeholders at all levels, providing valuable insights that align audit activities with business objectives. Your expertise will be crucial in identifying and assessing risks associated with new business launches and existing operations. As an individual contributor, your ability to build and implement effective audit strategies will be highly valued. • Develop and execute comprehensive audit plans, including planning, fieldwork, and reporting, for both established operations and new business lines. • Collaborate directly with stakeholders to provide insights and ensure alignment of audit activities with business objectives. • Identify and assess risks related to new business launches and existing operations, providing recommendations for process improvements. • Act as an individual contributor, building and implementing audit strategies independently. • Maintain in-depth knowledge of internal audit frameworks, ensuring all activities comply with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
