Job Description : ENGINEERING DIRECTOR MADRID SPAIN Director of Engineering for an international luxury company dedicated to the management and operation of exclusive hotels and accommodations. Based in Dubai, this company is known for its high-end hotels in exclusive destinations and offers a unique professional development opportunity in Mallorca. About the Position: The main functions and responsibilities of this position are: Closely supervise all engineering staff. Develop and implement a comprehensive preventative maintenance program for hotel equipment, ensuring proper record keeping. Coordinate and, if necessary, supervise external projects and contractors. Assume responsibility for the profitable operation of the department. Assist in the preparation of the revised annual budget with the financial controller and management. Establish an efficient system for the control and verification of all deliveries to facilities related to the operation of the department. Comply with local laws and act in accordance with any union agreements related to the maintenance department. Requirements and Experience: Minimum of 3 years of work experience in engineering in a hotel. Minimum 15 years of experience in civil and MEP (mechanical, electrical, plumbing) works. University degree in Engineering. Motivated and organized. Ability to multitask. Excellent level of Spanish and English. Excellent organizational and team management skills. Excellent computer skills. Interpersonal skills with proven ability to lead a team and manage conflicts. Ability to maintain the confidentiality of hotel guests and relevant information, conveying the same sense of confidentiality to all employees.
