Project Architect

Job Description : PROJECT ARCHITECT UAE The Project Architect manages construction projects from the conceptual design phase through completion of construction. Balances active architectural duties with a leadership role in both designing and drafting building. Job Responsibilities: • o Capability and experience in preparing and reviewing preliminary conceptual designs, schematics as per requirements. o Oversee the development and implementation of architectural designs for the project. o Coordinate the activities of the project design to ensure timely and cost effective completion of construction. o Provide recommendations on building requirements, zoning and material specification. o Collaborate with engineers to ensure that project elements like structures and building elements are developed according to local codes. o Manage project design operations to ensure compliance with established specifications and standards. o Maintain project quality control by reviewing and making necessary adjustments on drawings. o Develop and implement policies for production of construction documents, architectural designs, and procedures for construction. o Carry out reviews on cost to determine the requirements are aligned with the budget. o Handle administrative and non-technical functions while working on different projects. o Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of architectural project procedures and standards. o Mentor the project design and development team to ensure timely and effective completion of projects. o Prepare construction documents to contain building code requirements, floor plans, and elevation. o Present periodic reports to update on the progress of a project. Job Requirements: • o Bachelors / Master’s Degree in Architecture o Minimum 15 – 20 years of experience (Design consultancy background would be an ideal match, who can execute the work from scratch to final design, site execution will be an added advantage) o Strong written and communication skills. o Good analytical, problem-solving, and mentoring skills o Ability to work independently and in a team environment. o Proficiency in use of BIM and CAD platforms. o Experience with Microsoft Office suite, Project Management and Scheduling software o Demonstrated graphic presentation skills o Must have experience in preparation and layout of architectural contract documents and specifications. o Knowledge of visualization tools and processes a plus (Photoshop, Illustrator, SketchUp, 3-D Studio Max, Rhino, Grasshopper) Salary: Up to AED 35,000
