Unit Accountant

Job Description : Unit Accountant Location: Malawi, East Africa Experience : 12- 15 years ????Roles & Responsibilities ? Manage accounting of debtors and creditors, ensuring accurate records and reconciliations. ? Oversee accounting of sales and collections for the plant and depots. ? Calculate the landing cost of raw materials, considering all relevant expenses. ? Conduct product costing to support pricing strategies and cost control. ? Prepare budgets and cash flow statements to support financial planning. ? Generate Profit &Loss (P&L) statements and Management Information System (MIS) reports on a monthly basis. ? Assist in procurement planning to optimize inventory and cost efficiency. ? Prepare and submit statutory reports to the Head Office, ensuring compliance with regulations.
