Job Description : CFO MALAWI For a Leading Retail Group at Blantyre, Malawi Job Profile: • Financial Planning 8, Strategy: Preparation and Analysis of Budget and Business plans. Responsible for the accounts, finance, Treasury, taxation, Audit, Costing, Legal, Commercial etc. functions • Preparing Cash Flow Projections and Efficient Utilization of Fund • Handling Letters of Credit, negotiation of such with banks, finalization of international commercial contracts and other commercial aspects. • Preparation of MIS. • Preparation of working capital and term loan applications • Dealing with banks and Financial Institutions for raising working capital and long-term debt funds • Preparing Management Accounts and Ratio Analysis • Preparing Stock Reconciliation Quantity Data, Inventory Analysis and Physical Verification of end-month & annual Stock • Develop and Prepare the Monthly MIS Reports in terms of Sales, Receivables and Payables, Fund Flow and Cost of Production • Develop System and put in place Internal Control for Revenue Leakage, Cost Control and Cost Reduction • Preparing the Annual Financial with applicable statutory frameworks like IFRS, Internal GAAP etc. Desired Profile : CA with 10-15 years post qualification experience Precedence will be given to candidate from Retail industry and who has headed finance function in large retail industry Experience in successful financial strategy management and expansion of large retail business in various locations • Ability to support the Sales and Marketing teams to provide meaningful financial analysis and information to challenge and influence key business decisions, drive margin improvement and support the ongoing success of the business. Strong knowledge of SAP with more than 5 years of working on the platform Candidate should have experience in delivering robust, timely and value adding financial information and be instrumental in making sure financial data is delivered in a way that is relatable to both financial and non financial colleagues • Excellent communication skills • Prior African Experience is an added advantage Salary : Net savings upto $5000 + all expat benefits
