Job Description : REGIONAL MARKETING MANAGER MALAYSIA highly skilled and experienced Marketing Director to join their team. This role offers the opportunity to work with a global brand present in over 80 markets, requiring local and regional flexibility while maintaining global direction and consistency. The successful candidate will be responsible for sustaining momentum with a loyal consumer base, modernising the brand for new generations, increasing its relevance, and expanding B2B opportunities. What you'll do: As a Marketing Director, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our client's brand. You will be entrusted with developing and owning the Global Brand Strategy, leading the innovation agenda, overseeing communication strategies, and managing the Global Brand Architecture framework. Your expertise will also be crucial in driving both the global digital and ESG brand agendas. You will ensure alignment across various regions and markets, demonstrating your ability to adapt strategies to meet local needs. Develop and own the Global Brand Strategy, ensuring adaptability to local and regional needs. Lead the brand's innovation agenda, including the pipeline, in close collaboration with the Commercial Innovation lead and regional/local stakeholders. Oversee the overall communication strategy for the brand. Create and manage the Global Brand Architecture framework. Provide input to regional plans. Lead the global digital brand agenda. Drive the global ESG brand agenda. Ensure alignment with regions/markets through Marketing Ways of Working and governance. What you bring: The ideal candidate for this Marketing Director position brings extensive experience in FMCG Marketing within multinational companies. You are well-versed in best practice marketing frameworks and possess strong strategic thinking skills. Your track record showcases your ability to drive innovations that contribute significantly to business growth. With your extensive experience in digital marketing and strong commercial acumen, you are adept at balancing short-term and long-term brand strategies. Your proven success in managing a hub structure across multiple countries demonstrates your ability to adapt to varying sizes and brand maturities. 10+ years of experience in FMCG Marketing, preferably with a multinational company known for strong brands. Experience from the foodservice channel is desirable. Demonstrated brand strategic thinking (not just execution). Well-versed in best practice marketing frameworks and highly skilled in all core marketing and brand management principles. Proven success in managing a hub structure across a minimum of 3-5 countries, varying in size and brand maturity. Track record of driving innovations that have significantly contributed to business growth. Extensive experience in digital marketing. Strong commercial acumen, adept at using performance metrics and financial management to balance short-term and long-term brand strategies.
