Job Description : PLANT MANAGER MALAYSIA This role involves managing production processes, maintaining high standards of quality control, ensuring workplace safety, and leading a team to meet production goals. What you'll do: As a Plant Manager, you will play an integral role in driving the success of our operations. Your primary responsibility will be to oversee all aspects of our plant's operations. You will ensure that our production processes are running smoothly and efficiently while maintaining high standards of quality control. You will also be tasked with promoting workplace safety and leading a team to meet our production goals. Your leadership skills will be crucial in fostering a collaborative team environment where everyone is motivated to perform at their best. Oversee the day-to-day operations of the production plant, ensuring production schedules, quality standards, and safety protocols are met. Maintain high levels of operational performance and resolve any production challenges or delays. Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of production staff, supervisors, and engineers. Conduct regular performance evaluations, set clear goals, and support ongoing training and development. Identify areas for operational improvement and implement changes to optimize production processes and workflows. Ensure all products meet the company’s quality standards and regulatory requirements throughout the production process. Promote a culture of safety, conducting regular safety training and audits to prevent accidents and maintain a safe working environment. Oversee the planning and execution of production schedules, ensuring timely completion of all orders while managing production capacity effectively. What you bring: The ideal Plant Manager candidate will bring a wealth of experience in plant management or a similar role. You should have an in-depth understanding of manufacturing operations, production planning, and quality control systems. Your familiarity with lean manufacturing techniques and continuous improvement methodologies will be essential in optimizing our operational performance. Your strong leadership skills will enable you to drive productivity within your team while maintaining a positive work culture. Your excellent problem-solving and analytical skills will be crucial in making data-driven decisions that enhance our operations. Lastly, your strong communication skills will enable you to collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization. Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred). Proven experience in plant management or a similar role. In-depth knowledge of manufacturing operations, production planning, and quality control systems. Familiarity with lean manufacturing techniques and continuous improvement methodologies. Strong leadership and team management skills. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
