Job Description : Procurement Director Construction Projects – Abu Dhabi (BBBH26473.4) United Arab Emirates Procurement Director Major Programmes and Projects – Abu Dhabi based - Global Consulting firm expanding their advisory offering in the Middle East Salary: highly competitive package including housing & annual bonus This global consulting, known globally for their expertise within project management and construction consulting, is looking to after a period of sustainable growth in the Middle East hire an accomplished Associate Director to lead their new and expanding procurement specialist advisory offering in the UAE. This organisation already work on some of the largest and most well-known projects within the region, including NEOM and wider 2030 vision programs, as well as supporting on new and developing projects in Abu Dhabi and the UAE, whereby this role and team will be tasked with taking full advantage of these strong relationships and expanding them. As a new and developing team, within an already globally established business, this role also gives the unique opportunity to genuinely scale a team and business unit, ride your successes into partnership, but also be able to leverage a global network, making this an ideal opportunity for someone in the region looking for that next step into senior leadership and beyond. As a senior leadership role with the region, there are key requirements to be successful for this role – Senior advisory experience within Riyadh or UAE, experience of working in procurement and demonstrable experience of building consulting frameworks for procurement, cost optimization of transformation projects Experience of working on large capital projects or infrastructure projects in Saudi Arabia or UAE is a must Ability to manage a high-performing and growing team, with clear vision on hiring strategy and operational structure so you can develop this function Degree level education is ideal however not essential, further qualifications such as MBA or CIPS is also preferred
