8 yearsJob Description : Finance and Accounts Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing finance and accounting functions within the Real Estate, Construction, and Hospitality industries. This role requires expertise in financial reporting, budgeting, compliance, and managing accounting teams, ensuring that financial operations are aligned with industry regulations and business objectives. Key Responsibilities: · Financial Reporting: Oversee the preparation and presentation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for the company, including the consolidation of accounts for multiple business units or subsidiaries. Ensure reports comply with industry-specific regulations and standards. · Budgeting & Forecasting: Develop and manage company budgets, forecasts, and financial planning activities, ensuring all expenditures are aligned with business goals. · Cash Flow Management: Monitor cash flow and implement strategies to optimize financial resources, ensuring adequate liquidity for operational and project needs. · Accounts Management: Supervise daily accounts payable and receivable functions, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with industry standards. · Audit & Compliance: Liaise with external auditors and manage audit processes. Ensure full compliance with all tax, legal, and regulatory requirements within the real estate, construction, and hospitality sectors. Handle VAT compliance, including quarterly VAT return filing, ensuring timely and accurate submission. · Cost Control: Identify and analyze financial risks and opportunities. Implement cost control measures to maximize profitability, especially in project-based environments. · Project Financial Oversight: Assist in the financial management of construction and real estate development projects, including cost tracking, contract management, and financial analysis of project profitability. · Team Leadership: Lead and manage a team of accountants and financial professionals, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure efficient and accurate financial operations. · Vendor & Client Relations:Build and maintain strong relationships with financial partners, contractors, vendors, and clients to ensure seamless financial operations. · System Implementation & Improvements: Identify opportunities for improving financial systems andprocesses to enhance productivity and ensure efficient financial operations. · Required Skills & Qualifications: · Education: Bachelors degree in finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field. · Professional Certifications: ACCA, CA, ACMA · Experience: Minimum of 8 years of experience in finance and accounting roles within the real estate, construction,and hospitality industries. · Technical Skills: Proficiency in financial software (SAP, Tally ERP) and advanced MS Excel skills. · Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of financial regulations and compliance requirements in the real estate, construction, and hospitality sectors. Experience in GCC / OMAN will be preferred.
