Job Description : VP HSE ABU DHABI a leading player in the Oil & Gas industry, committed to powering a thriving future. Responsibilities: Direct the implementation of the organization strategy in line with business vision, mission and corporate objectives. Ensure that the overall business strategy is translated into annual operational business plans. Direct the development and oversee the implementation of policy, systems, processes, procedures and controls covering all functional areas. Ensure all divisional reports are completed timely and comply with HQ and business policies and standards. Direct the preparation of periodical management reports and progress reports to keep the senior management informed about the progress of various initiatives. Comply with organization requirements in a timely manner. Provide guidance and expertise to ensure compliance with legislative requirements. Establish key performance indicators for the Oil and Gas business unit related to metrics such as injury rates, spill incidents, etc. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety or Environmental Science or Engineering or equivalent. 10 years of relevant working experience in managing health, safety and environmental programs in the Oil & Gas industry. Experience in developing health, safety and environmental policies, standards, procedures. Expertise in ensuring compliance with legislative requirements. Experience in establishing key performance indicators for measuring safety performance. Ability to monitor HSE practices to ensure compliance. Experience in leading investigations of critical accidents, incidents, safety violations.
