Job purpose: Undertake or lead pre-award subcontracting activities and post-award administration for local/regional onshore or offshore EPCC/EPCIC/Construction projects. To prepare subcontracting plans, evaluation of quotes and finalization of Comparative Statement, selection of successful bidders. QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, & SKILLS: Bachelor’s Degree in engineering OR Construction Management. Minimum 10-15 years construction subcontracting experience out of which at least 5+ years at UAE, preferably within oil & gas industry, either onshore plant construction both green and brown field, offshore facilities fabrication, or offshore transportation & installation (T&I) activities. Experience of Lead Subcontracts Engineer/Subcontracting Manager/Contracts Manager for major onshore/offshore projects is essential. In depth knowledge and experience of subcontract purchasing techniques – to include negotiation, tendering and contract management. Ability to handle multiple projects, high volume activity and establish priorities in a dynamic business environment.
