Job Description : Plant Head for Copper Busbar & Copper Rod & Associated Facility manufacturing plant Position: Electrical Engineer Location: Dubai, United Arab Emirates Required Experience: 15 to 20 plus years in the same profession Qualification: Degree in Electrical/Mechanical/Metallurgical Engineer, English Speaking Must Preferred Companies: Gulf Country Exposure & Others also can be considered Job Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Plant Head Copper Recycling Plant to oversee the production and operational management of our copper recycling plant Copper Rod & Manufacturing Unit. The ideal candidate will lead a team of professionals, ensuring the plant operates efficiently, meets quality standards, and achieves production goals. Key Responsibilities: Plant Operations: · Oversee all aspects of copper recycling operations, including melting, refining, and casting processes. · Ensure adherence to production schedules and optimize operational efficiency. · Project Implementation process understanding review of engineering drawing, fabrication, erection, testing combining and successful handover and experience in complete plant operation. Quality Control: · Maintain high standards of product quality and ensure compliance with industry and environmental standards. · Develop and implement quality assurance programs. Team Management: · Lead and mentor a multidisciplinary team, fostering a culture of safety and innovation. · Ensure adequate training and development for staff to meet operational goals. Process Improvement: · Identify opportunities for process improvement to reduce waste and improve productivity. · Implement Lean and Six Sigma practices as applicable. · Waste management analysis · Store inventory record and understating of spare requirements. Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE): · Ensure the plant complies with all HSE regulations and practices. · Promote a culture of safety and sustainability. Budget Management: · Prepare and manage the plant's operational budget, ensuring cost control and resource optimization. · Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to achieve financial goals of team. · Approve maintenance budgets and capital expenditures (CAPEX) & OPEX for equipment upgrades and replacements. · Ensure that maintenance activities comply with safety regulations and minimize disruptions to production. · Work with the Procurement Engineer to develop and implement sourcing strategies that ensure the timely availability of raw materials and supplies for smooth production process of copper rod and copper bus bar. Desired Profile: · Bachelor's/Master's degree in Metallurgy, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field. · 15+ years of experience in copper recycling or related industries, with at least 20 years in a leadership role. · Strong understanding of copper recycling processes and industry best practices. · Proven track record in operational excellence and people management. · Knowledge of ERP systems and production software is an advantage. · Include a biodata with a photo, highlighting previous working experience in a similar kind of project. Soft spoken · Comfortable with work and previous similar experience is mandatory. · Duty time shall be 10 to 12 hours on a daily basis; no overtime shall be paid. Sunday shall be weekly off. · Male and female candidates shall be preferred. Visa & Travel Formalities: • · Travel Expenses: Only Joining Travel costs shall be borne by the company from Mumbai Airport to Dubai. · Visa Expenses: UAE visa-related expenses shall be borne by the company. · Contract Duration: 2 years rotation contract and mutually extendible. · Payment: Payment shall be directly made by the company to the employee
