Job Description : FC LONDON UK An Indian owned 5 hotels in the UK is looking for Indian FC with 20+ years experience in hospitality business Worldwide candidates encouraged to apply a leading hospitality group with a rich history and heritage, known for their exceptional service and guest experiences. We are seeking a dedicated Financial Controller for a 6 month fixed-term contract. In this role, you will provide accurate, timely, and relevant financial data to the Owners, General Manager, and other management. You will also manage the audit function to enhance guest service and financial profitability. Key Responsibilities: Ensure exceptional guest experiences by troubleshooting and resolving billing disputes. Represent the finance department in daily meetings. Manage all phases of Accounts Payable, Receivable, and department budgeting. Calculate and distribute wages and salaries. Prepare regular accounting reports and financial statements. Verify recorded transactions and report any irregularities to management. Direct the night audit team to ensure proper revenue reporting. Review ledger details and coordinate with the PMS team to resolve discrepancies. Oversee correct taxation across billing software like PMS, POS, and SPA systems. Manage financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management. Develop and implement financial policies and internal controls for compliance. Coordinate with external auditors and tax advisors for timely audits and tax filings. Experience, Skills, and Abilities: Experience working in hospitality or managing multiple sites (ESSENTIAL) Solid accounting experience with proficiency in accounting principles and practices. Proficiency in financial management software and advanced Excel skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong attention to detail for accuracy in financial records. Passion for exceeding expectations and fostering an inclusive environment. Proven ability to build and nurture positive relationships with stakeholders. Adaptability and flexibility in a fast-paced environment. Leadership and team management skills with a track record of high-performing teams. Knowledge of regulatory compliance and GAAP standards. Ability to communicate financial information to non-financial stakeholders effectively.
