Business Head

Job Description : Business Head – Africa Region Position Overview: The Business Head will lead the strategic and operational management of Clasico Group's business in the Africa region. This leadership role requires a deep understanding of the African market, with a focus on driving product launches, increasing market share, revenue growth, and brand presence. The ideal candidate will bring significant experience in the FMCG non-food sector and demonstrate a strong ability to lead cross-functional teams toward achieving ambitious business goals. Qualifications: Experience: 15-20 years of progressive experience in the FMCG industry, with a strong focus on non-food products. Significant expertise in the personal care segment is mandatory. Proven on-ground experience in the African region is highly preferred. Skills: Strategic thinking with a demonstrated ability to execute and achieve measurable results. Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate cross-functional teams. Excellent communication and negotiation skills to engage with internal and external stakeholders across a multicultural market. Deep understanding of African consumer behavior and purchasing patterns. Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, Supply Chain, or a related field is required. An MBA or equivalent advanced degree is strongly preferred. Preferred Attributes: In-depth knowledge of consumer behavior and market trends within the personal care segment across Africa. Experience managing P&L responsibilities for a business unit. A proven track record of launching and scaling brands in competitive and emerging markets. Understanding of local regulations, distribution models, and trade policies impacting FMCG businesses in Africa.
