Production Manager

Job Description : Production Manager for one of our production units in Mombasa, Kenya. This is an exciting opportunity for a professional with a background in apparel manufacturing to lead and manage a dynamic production floor. Key Responsibilities: Oversee and manage a sewing floor consisting of 500 to 600 machines. Ensure the production of 10,000-15,000 pieces per day, depending on styles. Manage day-to-day operations, including production planning, scheduling, and execution. Supervise a team of workers and ensure adherence to industry standards. Focus on quality control and production efficiency. Implement industrial engineering techniques and improve production processes. Monitor and control production figures, ensuring cost-effective operations. Provide leadership and guidance to ensure team productivity and motivation. Qualifications and Skills: Bachelor’s degree / Higher Diploma. Proven experience in the Apparel Manufacturing Industry, especially in managing large production floors. Strong technical knowledge in sewing and industrial engineering techniques. Excellent administrative and managerial capabilities. Ability to communicate fluently in English. Ability to handle large-scale garment production of 10,000 to 15,000 pieces per day. Strong focus on figure control and quality management.
