Job Description : ACCOUNTANT NIGERIA Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CA/CPA/ICAN certification is an added advantage. Job location: Nigeria Maintain accurate financial records, including accounts payable, receivable, and general ledger. Prepare financial statements, balance sheets, and profit & loss reports. Ensure compliance with local tax regulations, financial reporting standards, and company policies. Manage payroll, bank reconciliations, and cash flow statements. Monitor and control company expenses, ensuring cost efficiency. Handle audits and coordinate with external auditors when required. Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning. Implement and maintain accounting software and ERP systems. Analyze financial data and provide insights to management for decision-making. Liaise with banks, financial institutions, and regulatory authorities as needed. Experience: Minimum 8 years in accounting, preferably in the metal or manufacturing industry. Financial Expertise: Strong knowledge of accounting principles, taxation, and compliance. Software Skills: Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, SAP, QuickBooks, or ERP systems). Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze financial data and generate reports. Communication: Strong interpersonal skills to coordinate with internal teams and external agencies.
