Job Description : Chief Operating Officer (Crypto Fund). Location – Texas, US | Hybrid working model and occasional visits to the mining site as business requires (TBA) Salary – Depending on Experience + bonus Qualifications: Proven experience as a COO or senior operations executive, preferably in the cryptocurrency, technology, or energy sectors. Strong knowledge of Bitcoin mining operations, energy procurement, and blockchain technology. Demonstrated ability to scale operations and manage complex, multi-site projects in a dynamic environment. Exceptional leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and drive cross-functional teams. Experience with regulatory compliance, particularly in energy and cryptocurrency markets. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with a focus on operational efficiency and cost control. Bachelor’s degree in business administration, engineering, or a related field (MBA preferred). Key Responsibilities: Operational Strategy: Develop and implement operational strategies to achieve company objectives, including scaling Bitcoin mining operations globally. Process Optimization: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency, reduce costs, and maximize profitability. Energy Management: Collaborate with energy providers and internal teams to secure reliable and cost-effective power solutions, leveraging behind-the-meter and renewable energy strategies. Team Leadership: Build, mentor, and manage a high-performing operations team, fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, and excellence. Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with local and international regulations related to Bitcoin mining, energy use, and environmental standards. Supply Chain & Logistics: Oversee procurement, supply chain, and logistics operations to ensure timely delivery of equipment and resources for mining sites. Project Management: Manage large-scale mining development projects from planning to execution, ensuring timelines and budgets are met. Stakeholder Communication: Work closely with the CEO, CFO, and other key executives to align operational strategies with overall business goals.
