Head Food Technologist 

Job Description : Head Food Technologist SYDNEY AUSTRALIA Open to International candidates with 20+ years experience , you will lead a team to ensure food safety, quality, and innovation through developing new products, improving existing ones, and ensuring compliance with regulations, all while optimizing processes and resources. Here's a more detailed job description: · Leadership and Team Management: Lead and mentor a team of food technologists, ensuring their development and performance. · Product Development: · Develop new food products and improve existing ones, considering consumer trends and market demands. · Conduct research and development to identify new ingredients, processes, and technologies. · Formulate and optimize recipes and processes for food products. · Conduct sensory evaluations and consumer testing to ensure product quality and acceptability. · Quality Assurance and Control: · Establish and maintain robust quality control systems and procedures. · Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and standards (e.g., HACCP, GMP). · Conduct regular audits of suppliers and internal processes. · Investigate and resolve product quality issues and customer complaints. · Process Optimization and Efficiency: · Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce costs. · Optimize production processes to ensure consistent product quality and yield. · Evaluate and select appropriate equipment and technologies for food processing. · Collaboration and Communication: · Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, and operations. · Communicate technical information clearly and effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences. · Build strong relationships with suppliers and customers. · Documentation and Reporting: · Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of formulations, processes, and quality control data. · Prepare reports and presentations on product development, quality issues, and process improvements. Education: Master's or Ph.D. in Food Science, Food Technology, or a related field. Experience: Extensive experience in food product development, quality assurance, and process optimization.
