Job Description : HEAD GLOBAL SOURCING – Engineered Metals Group Mumbai (HQ) 1. THE CLIENT : A renowned family-owned, professionally run, high growth, multi-sector conglomerate - leading innovation in engineering, technology, and industrial solutions. 2. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: i. Setup & operate Global METALS /Metallurgy group UNIFIED sourcing COE- efficiently & effectively ii. Drive synergies, economies of scale, quality, consistency, and cost savings – in the sourcing of materials/inputs—across the group with ?a focus on OPEX / RM spends ( NOT CAPEX) iii. Research, ?Develop & maintain high-quality global vendor partners from across the globe who consistently deliver world-class quality, uninterrupted timely supply – at very competitive prices. iv. Develop also for new products/technologies that the group may venture into. v. Work Closely with Engineering to validate vendor processes, product & quality vi. FOCUS IS ON SOURCING – purchase will be handled by individual plant/company purchase dept who will have a dotted line to this position vii. Largely Individual contributor role 3. WHAT ARE WE SEARCHING FOR ?: PROFILE i. Engg ( MUST ) + MBA preferred ii. . ?45+/- 3 years?– max 50 years iii. Minimum 20 years of experience, of which the last 3-5 years are needed to be heading the Strategic Sourcing Function of a 500+ crs organization. EXPERIENCE 1. 20+ years in sourcing – or operations then sourcing in the Engineering / Industrial sector ( NOT FMCG / Consumer). LAST MIN 3 YEARS in an HOD role 2. Ideally?across min 2 diverse sectors?( Single sector NOT OK) 3. ? Must’ve handled GLOBAL sourcing – of INR 300+ cr, in minimum TWO DIVERSE sectors 4. .?Expertise in Vendor development and ESG is a must. 4. REWARDS / WHY JOIN ??? : i.
