Head of International Trade

Job Description : HEAD OF INTERNATIONAL TRADE DUBAI 10-15 years experience · Oversee the sales, marketing of hulled sesame seeds and ensure the sale price target set by the company is met. · Responsible for collection of payment, liaisoning with customers. · Work towards constantly increasing the customer base in Foreign Trade and HORECA segment so as to reduce risk. · Ensure consistency in volume sales and timely corrective actions in case of defaults. · Ensure compliance with foreign trade regulations. · Provide supervision, guidance, and council to the team. · Planning and organising marketing schedules. · Assessing project and resource requirements. · Estimating, negotiating and agreeing on contracts/agreements and timescales with clients and management. · Submit reports on performance and progress. · Identify issues in efficiency and suggest improvements. · Work in coordination with other Senior Traders. · Frequently coordinate in supply chain management components such as inventories, in - transit stock, production scheduling, and freight components. Desired Candidate Profile · Independent trade and business relationships are important. · Experienced individual with a minimum experience of 10 years in Agro Commodity trading and minimum 3-5 years of experience in sesame seed trading industry and its derivatives. · Should have deep knowledge and proven experience of key markets for purchase of natural sesame seeds (Africa, South America,etc) and sale of hulled sesame seeds. · Should be able to lead a sales team to market in various regions, particularly in Europe, Middle East, Gulf Region and Far East. · Should have ideally had a previous experience of selling as much as 40,000 MT of hulled sesame seeds yearly. · Apart from trading, experience and involvement in supply of sesame seeds in institutions such as factories, hotels and restaurants is expected, specially in the Middle East/Gulf. · Experience in marketing in markets such as the Americas and the Pacific is also desirable
