Job Description : CEO STEEL GREENFIELD PROJECT INDIA a leading conglomerate with a strong presence across multiple industries. As part of its strategic expansion, the group is establishing a state-of-the-art, greenfield integrated steel making plant with an investment of USD 2 billion. This project aims produce Hot rolled, cold rolled and other allied products and set new benchmarks in operational excellence, technology, and sustainability in the steel industry. Job Description Project Execution & Plant Setup: Lead the end-to-end execution of the greenfield integrated steel plant (Hot Rolled), ensuring timely completion within budget. Operations Management: Oversee production, supply chain, logistics, and quality control to ensure efficient plant operations. Technology Implementation: Drive the adoption of cutting-edge steel manufacturing technologies and automation for enhanced productivity. Strategic Planning: Develop and implement operational strategies aligning with the company's long-term vision. Process Optimization: Ensure continuous process improvements, cost efficiency, and high-quality output. Safety & Compliance: Ensure adherence to industry standards, environmental regulations, and workplace safety norms. Team Leadership: Build and mentor a high-performance team, fostering a culture of excellence and accountability. Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including vendors, government bodies, and industry experts. The Successful Applicant Key Requirements: Experience: 20+ years in steel manufacturing with a proven track record in hot-rolled steel plant setup and operations. Industry Exposure: Strong background in integrated steel plants with experience in large-scale project execution. Technical Expertise: Deep knowledge of steelmaking processes, rolling mills, and latest advancements in steel production technology. Leadership & Strategic Vision: Ability to drive large teams and align operational goals with corporate objectives. Educational Qualification: Bachelor's/Master's degree in Metallurgical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field. Preferred Qualifications: Experience working in global steel conglomerates or large-scale manufacturing units. Exposure to digital transformation and Industry 4.0 applications in steel manufacturing.
