Job Description : Expat) Supply Chain Manager - Food Importer Location: Kinshasa- RDC Industry: Food Importing Language Requirement: French and English is a Must We are looking for an experienced Supply Chain Manager to join our team at Socimex grp, a leading food import company. The ideal candidate will have significant experience in supply chain management, logistics, and distribution, with African experience preferred. Key Responsibilities: Oversee all aspects of the supply chain, including procurement, logistics, and inventory management. Develop and implement strategies for cost reduction, efficiency improvement, and risk management. Collaborate with local and international suppliers, vendors, and distributors. Ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of food products to our customers. Manage and optimize the logistics processes from importation to distribution. Monitor and analyze supply chain performance, making recommendations for improvement. Work closely with other departments, including sales and customer service, to meet business objectives. Requirements: Proven experience in supply chain management, preferably in the food importing industry. Solid understanding of logistics and supply chain best practices in African countries. Strong knowledge of import/export regulations and compliance. Fluent in French (both written and spoken) is a must. Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
