Mill Manager

Job Description : MILL MANAGER GABON a leading and innovative player in the Palm oil industry. They are responsible for producing and distributing high-quality palm oil products within Gabon and to other parts of Africa. As the organization continues to grow, they are seeking a dynamic and experienced professional to join their team as a Mill Manager to cover the maintenance and production efficiency of their Palm oil machinery. Job Description Reporting to the Vice President of Plantations, you are required to carry out the below duties: Mill Operations Management: Oversee the entire palm oil milling process, from fresh fruit bunch (FFB) reception to crude palm oil (CPO) and palm kernel oil (PKO) production. Monitor and control production to achieve maximum efficiency, yield, and quality Maintenance & Equipment Management: Plan and oversee regular maintenance of machinery and equipment to minimize downtime. Coordinate with maintenance teams to address breakdowns and ensure prompt repairs Quality Control & Compliance: Ensure compliance with industry standards for palm oil quality (e.g., FFA levels, moisture content) Implement quality assurance measures to maintain product consistency, labor, and raw materials. The Successful Applicant Minimum 10 years of experience working as a Mill Manager within the Palm Oil manufacturing industry in Africa is required Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, or a related field Proven track record of managing the maintenance and operations of Palm Oil machinery is mandatory Excellent leadership, and decision-making skills Ability to work in isolated site Excellent Fluency in English is required, French is a bonus Strong knowledge of palm oil processing technology, machinery and maintenance
