Job Description : VP HSE ABU DHABI a leading player in the Oil & Gas industry, committed to powering a thriving future. Responsibilities: · Direct the implementation of the organization strategy in line with business vision, mission and corporate objectives. · Ensure that the overall business strategy is translated into annual operational business plans. · Direct the development and oversee the implementation of policy, systems, processes, procedures and controls covering all functional areas. · Ensure all divisional reports are completed timely and comply with HQ and business policies and standards. · Direct the preparation of periodical management reports and progress reports to keep the senior management informed about the progress of various initiatives. · Comply with organization requirements in a timely manner. · Provide guidance and expertise to ensure compliance with legislative requirements. · Establish key performance indicators for the Oil and Gas business unit related to metrics such as injury rates, spill incidents, etc. Requirements: · Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety or Environmental Science or Engineering or equivalent. · 10 years of relevant working experience in managing health, safety and environmental programs in the Oil & Gas industry. · Experience in developing health, safety and environmental policies, standards, procedures. · Expertise in ensuring compliance with legislative requirements. · Experience in establishing key performance indicators for measuring safety performance. · Ability to monitor HSE practices to ensure compliance. · Experience in leading investigations of critical accidents, incidents, safety violations.
